About The Shark Den
Built by Players. Built for Players.
A billiards-first pool hall and bar created by people who know the game and the community behind it.
Our Story
More Than a Pool Hall.
The Shark Den was created by Suzy “SharkBait” and Eric “Jar Jar Banks” McKenzie, Air Force veterans and longtime APA league players.
Their goal is to create a clean, well-run, billiards-first pool hall where players can play, compete, socialize, and keep coming back for a reliable cue-sports experience.
Our Mission
A Place to Play. Compete. Connect.
Give Sparks and the greater Reno–Sparks community a clean, well-run, billiards-first pool hall and bar where players can play, compete, socialize, and come back regularly for a reliable cue-sports experience.
Our Vision
Leading the Shiver.
Be the recognized Reno–Sparks destination for organized pool — league play, tournaments, social play and casual bar service — built on repeat customers, memberships and strong local league relationships.
What Does “Shiver” Mean?
A Shiver Is a Group of Sharks.
At The Shark Den, the “Shiver” represents the people who make the room what it is — our members, league players, tournament players, and community.
